The Opportunity:

Join Allegro MicroSystems in a pivotal hybrid role as an ETQ Reliance and Python Developer, where you will be instrumental in enhancing our quality management systems and driving digital transformation. This is an exciting opportunity to blend your expertise in ETQ Reliance configuration with robust Python development, creating scalable solutions that directly impact our operational efficiency and product quality. You will play a key role in designing innovative applications, mentoring fellow developers, and ensuring the performance and reliability of our critical ETQ Reliance platform within a fast-paced, global semiconductor environment.
 

What You Will Do (Key Responsibilities):

  • Solution Design & Development:
    • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for ETQ Reliance and Python-based solutions.
    • Develop and configure ETQ Reliance applications, workflows, and modules, utilizing Python to implement complex business logic.
    • Design and implement scalable solutions that integrate ETQ Reliance or Python-based solutions with other enterprise systems using REST APIs.
  • Code Quality & DevOps:
    • Perform code reviews and enforce best practices across the development team to ensure high-quality, maintainable code.
    • Adhere to DevOps practices for efficient deployment and version control (e.g., using Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
  • Technical Leadership & Support:
    • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across various environments, ensuring platform stability and performance.
    • Mentor other developers and provide technical guidance, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
    • Maintain comprehensive documentation for architecture, configurations, and processes.

Who You Are (Qualifications/Desired Skills):

  • Experience:
    • 5+ years of experience with ETQ Reliance or Python development.
    • Experience with both on-premise and cloud-hosted ETQ Reliance environments (Preferred).
    • Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices (e.g., Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps) (Preferred).
  • Technical Proficiency:
    • Strong understanding of Web Application development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
    • Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, JavaScript, XML, SQL).
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business needs into technical solutions.
  • Communication & Collaboration:
    • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with business stakeholders and development teams.
  • Domain Knowledge (Preferred):
    • Knowledge of quality management systems and regulatory compliance (e.g., ISO, FDA).
  • Methodology (Preferred):
    • Agile/Scrum experience.
