Aesthetic Nurse

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Treatment & Patient Care:

• Perform a wide range of specialized facial treatments tailored to individual skin concerns.

• Administer minimal and non-invasive body slimming treatments utilizing technologies such as lipo cavitation, radio frequency, ultrasound, or other modalities as trained.
• Operate various laser devices for procedures like laser hair removal, skin rejuvenation (e.g. IPL, fractional, etc).
• Expertly administer injectable treatments, including Vitamin C, Glutathione, Collagen, Placenta and L-Carnitine pushes, and intravenous (IV) drip therapies for wellness and aesthetic benefits, following established medical protocols and physician orders.

• Dermatologist Assistance:

• Act as a skilled assistant to the Dermatologist during various non-surgical cosmetic procedures, anticipating needs and ensuring a seamless workflow.

• Prepare treatment rooms and ensure necessary equipment and supplies are readily available.
• Provide patient support and monitoring during procedures.

• Patient Consultation & Education:

• Conduct comprehensive initial consultations to understand patient aesthetic goals, assess skin and body conditions, and review medical histories.

• Collaborate with the Dermatologist to develop individualized treatment plans that align with patient needs and expectations.
• Clearly explain treatment procedures, potential benefits, risks, and expected outcomes to patients.
• Provide detailed pre- and post-treatment instructions to ensure optimal results and minimize complications.

• Safety & Compliance:

• Maintain a strict adherence to all safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and clinic policies.

• Ensure accurate and thorough documentation of patient consultations, treatments performed, and any adverse events.
• Obtain informed consent from patients prior to each treatment.
• Properly maintain and troubleshoot treatment equipment, reporting any malfunctions.

• Professional Development & Collaboration:

• Collaborate effectively with the Dermatologist, other co-aestheticians, and administrative staff to ensure a cohesive and positive work environment.

• Assist with inventory management of treatment supplies and equipment.
