  • Responsible for cutting, grinding and preparing all meat and poultry production as indicated in the meat order, the menu plan, recipes and methods.
  • Responsible supporting the Head and Sous Chef in a busy hotel kitchen delivering consistently high-quality food
  • Keeping records, budgets, and inventory
  • Ensures that hotel cost and policies and procedures are followed.
  • Maintain and set sanitation, hygiene, and safety standards.
  • Inform on a daily basis the sous chef of all relevant information in operational and personal matters, including information which not requires the executive chef's action..

Qualifications

  • Graduate of Culinary, Food Tech, HRM and other relevant courses
  • At least 3 years of experience in a related field is required for this position.
  • Skilled and knowledgeable in Butchery or its equivalent
  • Good communication skills and has great interpersonal skills
  • Good Leadership Skills
  • Willing to be deployed to any Astoria Properties
  • Can start immediately
