- Responsible for cutting, grinding and preparing all meat and poultry production as indicated in the meat order, the menu plan, recipes and methods.
- Responsible supporting the Head and Sous Chef in a busy hotel kitchen delivering consistently high-quality food
- Keeping records, budgets, and inventory
- Ensures that hotel cost and policies and procedures are followed.
- Maintain and set sanitation, hygiene, and safety standards.
- Inform on a daily basis the sous chef of all relevant information in operational and personal matters, including information which not requires the executive chef's action..
Qualifications
- Graduate of Culinary, Food Tech, HRM and other relevant courses
- At least 3 years of experience in a related field is required for this position.
- Skilled and knowledgeable in Butchery or its equivalent
- Good communication skills and has great interpersonal skills
- Good Leadership Skills
- Willing to be deployed to any Astoria Properties
- Can start immediately
