Education

• Must be a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

Job Description

• The Hemodialysis Nurse is responsible for rendering quality nursing care and support to patients suffering from acute and chronic renal (kidney) failure under the general supervision of a Hemodialysis head nurse and/or senior Hemodialysis Nurse.

Technical Skills

• Provides care and support for patients suffering from acute and chronic (kidney) failure.
• Demonstrates skills and accurate assessment, reassessment, development, and implementation of a plan of care. Plans give and evaluate nursing care.
• Verifies treatment orders relevant to the dialysis treatment for each individual patient.
• Revises and checks treatment plan related to the dialysis treatment including previous flow sheet acute/chronic orders.
• Primes dialyzer and prepares necessary equipment to be used in dialysis treatment.
• Records patient's medical information and pre and post-vital signs.
• Report observations to the physician.

Requirements

• Licensed/registered nurse.
• Preferably with experience in hemodialysis (not required).
• With hospital/clinical work experience for at least 6 months (not required).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Php26,000.00 per month
