We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Fruits and Vegetable Processors on the night shift. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the food production process, ensuring that our fruits and vegetables meet the highest standards of quality and safety. You will work in a fast-paced environment within a food processing plant, utilizing your skills to contribute to the overall efficiency of our operations.

Responsibilities

  • Operate machinery and equipment for processing fruits and vegetables while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Follow sanitation guidelines and maintain cleanliness in accordance with OSHA regulations.
  • Implement HACCP principles to ensure food safety throughout the processing stages.
  • Perform tasks related to food production, including sorting, cutting, and packaging produce.
  • Utilize knife skills effectively for meat cutting and preparation as needed.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functionality and report any mechanical issues.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals while maintaining high-quality standards.

Experience

  • Previous experience in manufacturing or food processing is preferred.
  • Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations within the food industry.
  • Mechanical knowledge is a plus for troubleshooting equipment issues.
  • Strong knife skills and experience in meat cutting are advantageous but not mandatory.
