About the Role

This role leads Curogram's
data entry and operations support team
that is responsible for
manually syncing data
between Curogram and our clients' EMR or EHR systems.

The team regularly:

  • Downloads data from the client EMR or EHR and from Curogram
  • Cleans, formats, and validates the data based on set templates and rules
  • Uploads the data back into Curogram and or the EMR or EHR
  • Checks that records are accurate, complete, and synced correctly

In addition to data entry and data sync, the team may also support
other departments
with operational tasks and special projects. Examples include data clean up, list preparation, reporting support, and other back office work that helps Sales, Support, Integrations, Onboarding, or other internal teams.

As the Team Lead, you are responsible for team performance, quality, correct account setup, and coordination of cross functional requests.

Key Responsibilities

1. Data entry, data syncing, and account setup

  • Lead a data entry and operations support team that manually syncs data between Curogram and client EMR or EHR systems.
  • Ensure all new client accounts are fully set up and ready for data syncing.
  • Ensure all existing data sync accounts are up to date and running correctly.
  • Download data from EMR or EHR and or Curogram according to the correct process.
  • Make sure the correct raw file is exported before each data sync.
  • Clean, format, and prepare data using defined templates and data entry rules.
  • Upload formatted data back to Curogram and or to the EMR or EHR.
  • Help verify active offices, locations, and providers so that only valid data is synced.
  • Handle account setup for new environments and help establish or maintain EMR integrations.
  • Coordinate with sales representatives for missing information or account modifications related to client accounts.

2. Issue handling, troubleshooting, and escalation

  • Identify and troubleshoot EMR, account, or data sync issues that appear during daily work.
  • Resolve issues directly when possible using existing standard operating procedures.
  • Escalate complex, unresolved, or high risk issues to the Manager in charge in a timely manner.
  • Raise issues and risks early to avoid data entry errors and client escalations.
  • Monitor recurring issues, log them, and suggest process or system improvements.

3. Team leadership and performance management

  • Improve, manage, and supervise the data entry and operations support team (Active Sync team).
  • Organize workload priorities, procedures, and work assignments to meet quality and productivity targets.
  • Maintain and update standard operating procedures for data entry, data sync, and account setup.
  • Complete monthly performance assessments for each associate and document results.
  • Provide direct, specific, and actionable feedback to team members.
  • Coach and mentor the team to improve accuracy, speed, communication, and ownership.
  • Support a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.

4. Operations, reporting, and administration

  • Maintain an organized digital filing system for working files and synced data.
  • Protect confidential client and patient information according to HIPAA and company policies.
  • Track and approve attendance, daily reports, and time off requests for the team.
  • Review daily and weekly reports on volume completed, error rates, and turnaround times.
  • Monitor key metrics such as productivity, quality, and on time completion of tasks.
  • Communicate status, risks, and needs clearly to the Manager in charge and other internal stakeholders.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

5. Cross functional and departmental support

  • Support other departments with
    back office and data related tasks
    , not limited to EMR data sync.
  • Assist Sales, Support, Integrations, Onboarding, or other teams with tasks such as data clean up, list building, report preparation, and simple research, as needed.
  • Allocate team capacity for internal projects while protecting critical data sync operations.
  • Make sure cross functional work requests are documented, scoped clearly, and completed on time.
  • Provide feedback on recurring requests and suggest ways to standardize or automate work where possible.

Minimum Qualifications

These items should appear clearly in the CV or resume:

  • At least
    3 years of experience in a leadership or team lead role
    , preferably in operations, data entry, or BPO.
  • Proven experience
    managing or supervising a team
    , including performance management and feedback.
  • Hands on experience in
    data entry, back office operations, or product support.
  • Experience working with
    spreadsheets and CSV files
    , including basic data cleaning and formatting.
  • Experience following and applying
    standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling large volumes of data.
  • Ability to manage manual data syncing processes that involve downloading, formatting, and uploading data between systems.
  • Basic technical and troubleshooting skills related to account access, EMR access, and system issues.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to prioritize, delegate, and monitor workload across a team of data entry and operations support associates.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, including professional escalation and reporting.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive patient information securely.
  • Comfortable working in a remote, metrics driven environment with set targets.
  • Flexible and open to supporting different departments, processes, and tools as business needs evolve.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with
    EMR or EHR systems
    in a healthcare or health tech setting.
  • Experience in a
    healthcare, medical, or health tech BPO
    environment.
  • Familiarity with
    HIPAA
    or similar data privacy regulations.
  • Experience leading a
    night shift, rotating shift, or distributed remote team.
