Warehouse Supervisor

Greenery Mart Corporation (GMC) is a retail and wholesale distribution company that started its operation in Ibajay, Aklan in the year 2000, emphasizing on selling fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) at low prices. Now, GMC caters to a population of around 1.2 million people, with a distribution area spanning 24 municipalities throughout the Panay island region.

About the Role

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Warehouse Supervisor located in Ibajay, Aklan. The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse management operations, including managing logistics, assigning tasks to employees, and regular maintenance of warehouse assets. Day-to-day tasks include assigning tasks to drivers and helpers, dispatching deliveries, and other warehouse-related tasks.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations
• Assign drivers and helpers
• Update company group chat for day-to-day operations
• Ensure Delivery Receipts (DRs) are properly filed after use
• Assign trucks for deliveries and pick-ups
• Dispatch daily deliveries to customers
• Ensure accuracy of stocks delivered to customers
• Ensure completeness of documents for stocks leaving the warehouse
• Provide consistent reports to management regarding daily warehouse activities
• Manage warehouse associates, monitor work, and ensure safe use of warehouse equipment
• Communicate with other departments to ensure timely and complete delivery or transfer of products
• Organize products in the warehouse
• Oversee encoding of stocks into the inventory system to ensure data accuracy
• Oversee incoming deliveries from suppliers

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Industrial Engineering or other related fields
• At least 3+ years of warehouse management experience in warehouse operations or management, including inventory control, receiving, and shipping.
• Ability to lead, delegate, motivate staff, and resolve conflicts effectively to maintain a productive and safe work environment
