Warehouse Worker

About the role

As a Warehouse Worker at Metro Industries Inc.', you will play a vital role in the smooth operation of our Canlubang, Calamba City, Laguna-based warehousing and distribution centre. This full-time position involves carrying out a variety of tasks to ensure the efficient storage, handling, and shipment of our chemical products.

What you'll be doing

• Receive, inspect, and unload incoming shipments of raw materials and finished goods
• Accurately stock, organize, and maintain inventory in our warehousing facilities
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for timely dispatch
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse
• Assist with the loading and unloading of delivery trucks

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment, preferably in the manufacturing or logistics industry
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems and inventory control procedures
• Ability to operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Good physical fitness and stamina to handle the demands of the role
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• A safety-first mindset and willingness to adhere to all health and safety protocols
