What We're Looking For

We are seeking a highly experienced Network Architect to lead the end-to-end design and architecture of a complex enterprise-grade network environment. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in defining the future-state network architecture, ensuring scalability, security, and resilience across multiple data centres, application platforms, and integration points. This position requires deep technical expertise, strong stakeholder engagement, and the ability to translate strategic business requirements into a robust and future-ready network solution.

Client Overview

A technology-driven organization specializing in AI, machine learning, and digital transformation solutions. With a growing global footprint and an expanding team in the Philippines, the company develops intelligent software products designed to improve efficiency, security, and data-driven decision-making for clients across industries.

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead the architecture design and documentation of the new enterprise network solution, including WAN, LAN, WLAN, and security architecture.

· Conduct current-state assessments of existing infrastructure and identify opportunities for optimisation, consolidation, and risk reduction.

· Define target-state architecture blueprints, standards, and technology roadmaps aligned to enterprise and security requirements.

· Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and security teams to ensure end-to-end integration between network components and other IT domains (compute, storage, cloud, and application).

· Develop high-level and low-level design (HLD/LLD) documents to guide implementation partners and internal technical teams.

· Provide technical governance during solution design, vendor selection, and implementation phases.

· Evaluate and recommend network technologies, tools, and vendors to support performance, scalability, and security goals.

· Ensure compliance with industry standards, cybersecurity frameworks, and regulatory requirements.

· Support the transition from project to operations, ensuring proper handover, documentation, and knowledge transfer.

· Serve as the technical authority for all network-related decisions and design considerations during the project lifecycle.

Experience:

· 10+ years of progressive experience in enterprise network design and architecture, including multi-site, high-availability environments.

· Proven background designing and implementing complex data centre, WAN, and cloud-connected networks (preferably in highly

regulated or high-availability industries such as finance, hospitality, or gaming).

· Deep technical knowledge of:

· Core Routing and Switching (Cisco, Juniper, Arista)

· Firewall and Network Security (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA)

· SD-WAN / MPLS / VPN / BGP / OSPF / VLAN segmentation

· Load Balancers, Proxy, and Application Delivery Controllers

· Wireless LAN architecture and performance optimisation

· Network Monitoring and Management platforms (SolarWinds, Nagios, etc.)

· Integration with Cloud Networking (Azure, AWS, or GCP connectivity)

· Strong understanding of network resilience, redundancy, and failover design.

· Experience developing network architecture artefacts including HLD, LLD, standards, and operational runbooks.

· Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills and ability to communicate complex designs to both technical and executive audiences.

· Demonstrated experience leading or advising large transformation programs involving infrastructure modernisation or system migration.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).

· Professional certifications such as CCIE, CCNP, JNCIE, or equivalent are highly desirable.

· Cloud-related certifications (Azure, AWS) advantageous.
