Position Summary

Customer Service Professionals (CSP's) on the Provider Billing Inquiry are responsible for successfully answering claims-related inquiries from our network providers while also communicating with internal Billing and Collection team to address these concerns.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Efficient and effective screening and management of incoming provider emails.
  • Prompt response and acknowledgement of claims inquiry from network providers.
  • Effective and orderly system navigation in order to successfully investigate the claim status in question.
  • Clear and concise creation of an inquiry log with proper and complete documentation.
  • Interdepartmental communication to properly address claims/billing inquiries, usually with the Billing and Collection Team.
  • Ensuring all necessary information are available and populated in the system prior to creation of an inquiry log.
  • Exceptional customer service while communicating through email.
  • Excellent multi-tasking skills to ensure communicated TATs are being met.
  • Complete special projects or tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
  • Comply with HIPAA and URAC guidelines.
  • Understand MedRisk's interdepartmental procedures, policies and comply with them.
    • Identify potential or existing system and/or procedural challenges, and notify Supervisor and assist in resolution if needed.
    • Other duties as assigned.
    • Receive inbound phone calls from a phone queue when promoted to Hybrid Customer Service Professional (HCSP)

Qualifications

  • Experience in claims management is preferred
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail orientated and strong data entry skills
  • Minimum of 3 years of call center experience with both inbound and outbound calls (medium to high volume)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Outlook, Word and Excel and general computer literacy, working with dual screens
  • Time management and strong organizational skills required
  • Experience in and/or education credits towards Nursing, Physical Therapy, Occupation Therapy, etc preferred
  • A license issued by the Philippine Professional Regulation Commission for allied health profession is preferred
  • Possess impeccable customer service skills with 1-2 years of experience
  • Willing to work any assigned shift during a work week in Mandaluyong City
