Kaokee Singaporean Restaurant is currently looking for a Kitchen Preparation Cutter to join our growing culinary team. If you have a passion for food preparation and take pride in working behind the scenes to support a busy kitchen, we want to hear from you

Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge of kitchen operations and food preparation techniques
• Prior experience as a Kitchen Cutter or similar food preparation role is preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining food safety standards
• Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods
• Can work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen setting
• Must be willing to be assigned to Podium (Ortigas) branch

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily ingredient preparation tasks such as washing, peeling, trimming, slicing, chopping, and portioning vegetables, meats, and seafood
• Ensure consistency in ingredient sizes and cuts according to kitchen standards and menu requirements
• Assist in the mise en place process to support chefs and cooks during service hours
• Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of cutting tools, knives, chopping boards, and prep areas
• Safely operate kitchen equipment such as slicers, peelers, and knives following proper handling procedures
• Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations strictly
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient prep work
• Perform other tasks assigned by the Head Chef or immediate supervisor
