Job Overview This role drives Manufacturing Technology Development through data science solutions, fostering innovation across Stamping, Plating, Molding, Assembly, and Measuring Systems. The individual translates business problems into data science solutions, leading the design, development, and deployment of machine learning models and statistical analyses. They extract insights from complex datasets, build predictive and optimization models, and ensure scalable data pipelines through collaboration with data engineering.This position requires effectively communicating complex findings to non-technical stakeholders using visualizations and narratives. Applying Lean Six Sigma methodologies, they resolve diverse problems and collaborate cross-functionally on advanced projects (e.g., sub-micron tooling, measuring systems).The role ensures adherence to specifications, regulations, and customer requirements, working under general direction to achieve departmental objectives. They also train and mentor employees, providing input for performance evaluations and contributing to subfunction/business unit goals. What your background should look like:

Minimum 5 years of experience in data science, machine learning, or applied statistics.Bachelor's Degree required (Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field), Master's preferred.Strong foundation in statistical inference, hypothesis testing, and experimental design.Strong understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning algorithms, and data visualization.Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and relevant libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).Demonstrates thorough knowledge of data analytics tools. e.g., Minitab, JMP, Power BI, Tableau.  Thorough knowledge of general engineering tools (LEAN or 6-sigma) such as DoE, FMEA, QFD, etc.Tight tolerance electrical connector experience is a plusFluent in English (read, write, and speak).Broad knowledge of stamping, plating, assembly, and molding processes for connectors and sockets is a plus.Practical application of MS Office software (Word, Excel, PPT, Project, & Outlook). General project management skills and experience – Ability to work on several projects at once.Based in Batangas, Philippines, and willing to travel up to 25% average.
