Hydraulic Mechanic

Job Qualifications

• With good foundation in fluid mechanics, electricity and electronics
• Ability to use diagnostics tools and read meters and dials to analyze system performance and identify faults.
• Can read and understand schematic diagram both hydraulic and electric
• Strong analytic and critical thinking skills to evaluate options and implement solutions for complex problems.
• Can perform tasks that may involve heavy lifting and operating machinery such as forklifts.
• Can work with less supervision

Job Responsibilities

• Installing and fabricating hydraulic systems, including pumps, motors, piping, and hoses.
• Performing routine preventive maintenance and inspections to ensure efficient and reliable operation of hydraulic systems and equipment.
• Diagnosing problems, identifying issues, within hydraulic systems, and performing repairs by disassembling, repairing and reassembling components.
• Inspecting, analyzing and troubleshooting hydraulic systems and equipment to find and resolve issues.
• Completing detailed records of maintenance, repair and testing procedures for electronic and manual systems.
• Provide daily report on the equipment repair status to the Fleet Maintenance Manager
• Conduct PMS on timely manner.
• Working with other mechanics, such as diesel or heavy equipment specialists, and providing input on design improvements.
• He will also provide assistance, to the other mechanics, for the repair of trucks and wing vans when needed.
• Keeping the working area clean , organized, safe and in good working condition.
• Perform other task that may assigned by the Fleet Maintenance Manager.
