About the role

Filoil Gas and Energy Company, Inc. is seeking an experienced Oil and Gas Engineer to join our team in Manila City, Metro Manila. As an Oil and Gas Engineer, you will play a vital role in the operations and maintenance of our oil and gas facilities, ensuring the safe and efficient production of energy resources. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to be part of a dynamic and innovative organisation within the construction industry.

What you'll be doing

  1. Oversee the operation and maintenance of oil and gas production equipment, including pumps, compressors, and control systems
  2. Monitor and analyse data from production facilities to identify operational issues and implement corrective measures
  3. Develop and implement maintenance and inspection programs to ensure the reliability and safety of oil and gas assets
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise production processes and enhance operational efficiency
  5. Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations, health and safety standards, and environmental policies
  6. Provide technical support and expertise to other departments, such as project management and engineering
  7. Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in oil and gas technology and industry best practices

What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering
  2. Minimum 5 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, with a strong background in plant operations and maintenance
  3. Proficient in the use of computer-aided design (CAD) software and data analysis tools
  4. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues
  5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  6. Familiarity with relevant industry regulations, safety protocols, and environmental standards
  7. Willingness to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
