Job Summary:

The Purchasing Manager is responsible for planning, directing, and overseeing all procurement activities, including local and international sourcing of trucks, machinery, automotive parts, warehouse supplies, and company requirements. This role ensures the timely purchase of quality materials at competitive prices, maintains supplier relationships, and leads the purchasing team to support operational and business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic purchasing plans and procurement policies aligned with company goals.
• Oversee local and international purchasing of trucks, parts, equipment, supplies, and services.
• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
• Manage importation processes including supplier coordination, shipping arrangements, customs documentation, and product release.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse and inventory teams for replenishment planning.
• Evaluate supplier performance and recommend qualified partners and alternative sources.
• Review and approve purchase requests, purchase orders, and contracts.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and ethical standards.
• Analyze market trends, price movement, and supply availability to mitigate procurement risks.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, files, and supplier database.
• Collaborate with accounting regarding payment terms, invoice concerns, and cost monitoring.
• Coordinate closely with operations, sales, logistics, and service departments to align purchasing timelines and needs.
• Lead, train, and supervise purchasing staff, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
• Prepare monthly purchasing reports, cost analysis, and supplier updates for management.
• Drive cost-saving initiatives, vendor development, and process improvements.
• Perform other related duties as may be assigned.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php30, Php45,000.00 per month
