Van Salesman

The Van Salesman is responsible for driving sales growth by visiting assigned routes, presenting products to customers, processing orders, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. This role involves maintaining strong customer relationships, meeting daily sales targets, and accurately managing inventory on the assigned vehicle. The Van Salesman also ensures proper handling of products, prepares sales reports, and coordinates with the sales team for route planning and customer updates. The position requires consistent fieldwork and direct interaction with store owners and retailers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily route selling and delivery of FMCG products to assigned stores or areas.
• Promote products, suggest orders, and achieve daily/weekly/monthly sales targets.
• Load, unload, and properly merchandise products at customer locations.
• Collect payments, issue receipts, and manage cash and documents securely.
• Maintain accurate inventory of stocks inside the delivery van.
• Ensure the vehicle is kept clean, safe, and in proper running condition.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships and provide excellent service.
• Identify new sales opportunities within the assigned route.
• Prepare and submit daily sales reports and order summaries.
• Coordinate with the logistics and warehouse team for stock replenishment and delivery needs.

Qualifications:

• At least College Level.
• With experience in FMCG sales or route selling is a strong advantage.
• Valid professional driver's license (Restriction 1, 2, or equivalent).
• Knowledgeable in basic sales processes and customer handling.
• Physically fit and able to lift products when needed.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Honest, responsible, and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Willing to be assigned to Bataan area and travel daily on route.
