About the role

As a Compliance Officer at BestOption Management Consultants Inc', you will play a crucial role in ensuring the company's operations comply with all relevant laws, regulations and internal policies. This full-time position is based in Metro Manila and will involve working closely with the management team to identify, assess and mitigate compliance risks across the organisation.

What you'll be doing

  • Monitor and report on the company's compliance with financial services regulations and guidelines
  • Conduct regular reviews of internal policies and processes to identify potential compliance gaps
  • Implement and maintain effective compliance controls and procedures
  • Provide compliance training and guidance to all employees to promote a culture of risk awareness
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address compliance issues and implement solutions
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in relevant laws, regulations and industry best practices
  • Assist in the preparation of regulatory reports and respond to inquiries from authorities

What we're looking for

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a compliance or risk management role, preferably within the financial services industry
  • Thorough understanding of relevant compliance regulations, such as those governing banking, investments and anti-money laundering
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and mitigate compliance risks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
  • Highly detail-oriented and organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Relevant degree in finance, law, business or a related field
