Dietary Aide

JOB SUMMARY:

Under the immediate supervision of the Nutritionist Dietitian, the Dietary Aide performs various manual duties in the dietary department, including the preparation and service of food to hospital inpatients, personnel, and doctors. He/She is also responsible for the proper care and maintenance of equipment in the area.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Portions food for distribution to inpatients, doctors, and personnel.
• Maintains high standards of safety and sanitation.
• Collects, cleans, and returns used trays, plates, and other wares to the storage area.
• Reports any leftovers to the immediate supervisor for proper use and storage.
• Adjusts food quantities as needed based on changes in patient census.
• Conducts monthly inventories of stocks and wares.
• Assumes the duties of the diet clerk in their absence, under the supervision of the supervisor.
• Defrosts refrigerators and chillers.
• Cleans counter tables, carts, and sinks after each use.
• Keeps records such as meal census, diet lists, etc.
• Checks deliveries accordingly.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php15, Php16,000.00 per month

Experience:

• Food service: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:
