Responsibilities:
- Create and update the wine list in coordination with chefs and the F&B Manager
- Recommend food and wine pairings
- Advise guests on wines based on their personal tastes and food choices
- Inform guests about different varieties of wines and their prices
- Ensure wines are served at the right temperature and in proper glassware
- Manage the wine cellar and ensure it is fully stocked
Qualifications:
- Graduate of Hotel and Restaurant Management (HRM) or a related field
- Proven years of experience as a Sommelier in Fine dine restaurant.
- Ability to create tasteful food and wine pairings
- Must have extensive knowledge of different wines and their regions of origin
- Must have a good communication skills and pleasing personality
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Willingness to be assigned to specific store or branch locations as needed.
- Must be available to start immediately.
