About the Role
We are hiring an IT Specialist to support and manage technology operations for a leading property resort. This role requires the candidate to be willing to work onsite or relocate in the property.
The IT Specialist will handle end-user support, troubleshoot systems, manage IT resources, and ensure the efficiency and security of technology operations. You'll work closely with the IT Manager and Director, and have a direct impact on system performance and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide responsive IT support to all end-users
- Manage trouble tickets, service requests, and system issues
- Monitor and maintain backups, security protocols, and system performance
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems
- Guide junior IT team members and share technical knowledge
- Maintain accurate documentation and knowledge bases
- Report regularly to the IT Manager and/or Director
Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field (2- or 4-year degree acceptable)
- 3+ years of experience in IT operations, infrastructure, or systems support
- Proficient in computer systems, networks, cybersecurity, and telecom
- Familiar with industry best practices in IT and system management
- Preferably with hospitality industry exposure
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and technical skills
Ability to manage tasks independently
