Quantity Surveyor

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Quantity Surveyor who will play a key role in preparing realistic, adaptable, and accurate budget estimates and cash flow projections. This position requires strong technical knowledge in cost engineering, quantity take-off, bidding, procurement, and project financial management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Architecture
• Experience or knowledge in Quantity Surveying, Cost Engineering, Project Management, or equivalent fields
• Strong ability in the following:
• Estimates & Quantity Take-off
• Cost Engineering & Cost Analysis
• Contract, Packaging & Procurement Planning
• Bidding & Procurement
• Contract Documentation
• QC Post-Contract Works
• Excellent time-management skills and ability to meet strict project deadlines

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare initial budget estimates and accurate cash flow projections
• Conduct quantity take-off and prepare detailed cost estimates
• Represent the company in bid conferences and project meetings
• Analyze tender submissions, prepare bid evaluation reports, and recommend tender awards
• Establish financial analysis and projections for ongoing projects
• Prepare and evaluate monthly progress billing statements
• Handle variation/change order claims and maintain an updated list of bonds and insurances
• Prepare reports for contractor/supplier final account close-out
• Prepare, calculate, and control budgets for man-hours, equipment, and materials
