Job Summary:

The Site Engineer is responsible for overseeing construction activities on-site, ensuring projects are carried out according to plans, specifications, safety standards, and within the agreed timeline and budget. The role involves coordinating with project managers, contractors, and suppliers, as well as supervising site operations and providing technical guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and monitor day-to-day site operations to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and according to quality standards.
  • Interpret and implement construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
  • Coordinate with project managers, architects, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Conduct site inspections and prepare progress reports for management.
  • Resolve technical issues that may arise during construction.
  • Manage and monitor resources such as labor, equipment, and materials.
  • Verify and ensure proper use of materials, equipment, and workmanship.
  • Prepare documentation such as daily site logs, reports, and quality records.
  • Assist in project planning, scheduling, and cost control.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Professional Engineer license or eligibility is an advantage.
  • Proven experience in construction or civil engineering projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
  • Proficient in project management and construction software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project, Primavera).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
