REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- College graduate of BS Chemistry, BS Chemical Engineering, or BS Agricultural Chemistry
- Licensed Chemist (RCh)
- Computer literate, proficient in oral and written communication
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Performs soil, plant tissue, fertilizer, fruit, water and soil amendment analyses.
- Ensures proper use of instruments in the performance of analyses.
- Prepares laboratory materials prior to analysis.
- Computes analysis results of control samples prior to each analysis parameter performed and computes analysis results of samples of fertilizers for field application.
- Submits reports on all activities performed to the supervising chemist.
- Sees to it that laboratory materials are adequate for use.
- Monitors laboratory reagents and materials from time to time.
