Job Purpose:

The Electrical Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and supervising electrical systems and equipment for construction and engineering projects. The role ensures safe, efficient, and cost-effective electrical solutions while complying with industry standards, codes, and project requirements.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electrical plans, layouts, and specifications for projects.
  • Prepare load calculations, single-line diagrams, panel schedules, and technical drawings.
  • Review and approve electrical design documents and shop drawings.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
  • Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
  • Conduct inspections and quality assurance for electrical works on site.
  • Coordinate with architects, civil, and mechanical engineers to integrate electrical requirements into overall project design.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues and recommend technical solutions.
  • Provide technical support to project managers, contractors, and clients.
  • Prepare reports, cost estimates, and documentation related to electrical works.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety guidelines, and data confidentiality.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Licensed Electrical Engineer.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and standards.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and other electrical design software.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • At least 2 years relevant work experience in electrical design and/or construction.

Working Conditions:

  • Site-based work.
  • Exposure to construction sites, requiring use of PPE and adherence to safety standards.
  • Standard working hours, with possible overtime to meet project deadlines.

  • Timely delivery of project requirements.
  • Compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Efficiency in problem-solving and troubleshooting.
  • Effective coordination with project teams and stakeholders.

Job Type: Fixed term

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: Php22, Php28,000.00 per month
