Reporting To: Director of Legal, APAC

About the Role

We are looking for a Legal Counsel (APAC) to support day-to-day legal and operational matters across the region. This role is ideal for a commercially minded legal professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can balance legal risk with business needs.

You will play a key role in contract review, corporate governance, dispute management, and compliance, while working closely with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities

  • Review, draft, and negotiate a variety of agreements, including:

  • Deal and membership agreements

  • Operational and service contracts
  • IT-related agreements
  • HR-related contracts
  • Event-related agreements
  • Manage corporate secretarial matters and ensure proper corporate governance practices
  • Handle bad debt recovery matters and support litigation management when required
  • Provide support on regulatory and compliance matters across APAC
  • Partner with internal teams to provide practical, commercially sound legal advice
  • Coordinate with external counsel and counterparties as needed
  • Ensure legal processes and documentation are well-structured, organized, and aligned with company standards

Qualifications & Experience
  • Law degree from an accredited institution

  • 3–5 years of in-house legal experience, with strong exposure to:

  • Commercial contract review (deal and operational contracts)

  • Corporate secretarial work
  • Bad debt recovery and/or litigation management
  • Experience in real estate, serviced offices, or co-working spaces is a strong advantage
  • Compliance experience is a plus
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines successfully
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
