- Preparing and serving drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) quickly and accurately.
- Mixing traditional and creative cocktails.
- Greeting customers, taking orders, and providing excellent customer service.
- Checking customers' identification to confirm legal drinking age.
- Managing bar inventory, restocking supplies, and ensuring cleanliness of the bar.
- Processing payments, opening and maintaining tabs, and balancing cash registers.
- Building rapport with customers to create a positive atmosphere.
- Following all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies related to alcohol service.
- Occasionally creating new cocktail recipes and planning bar menus.
- Handling additional tasks like overseeing bar operations and training staff in lead bartender roles.
