Accounting Supervisor/Senior Accountant

We're looking for a dedicated and experienced Accounting Supervisor to lead our accounting team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial reporting, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to mentor and guide junior staff. As the Accounting Supervisor, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records and contributing to the overall financial health of the company.


Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
  • Supervise and train junior accounting staff, providing guidance and constructive feedback.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
  • Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes efficiently and accurately.
  • Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting.
  • Coordinate and support internal and external audits.
  • Identify and implement improvements to accounting processes and internal controls.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and laws.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certification is a significant plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel (advanced skills required).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
