DERCA Group, a franchisee of Anytime Fitness gyms, currently manages 12 gyms in Metro Manila and nearby cities. It is strengthening its support teams and is looking for an Accounting Supervisor to be based at its head office in Quezon Avenue, Quezon City.

Key Responsibilities:
Financial Oversight
Leads the preparation and maintenance of financial reports (e.g. balance sheets, income statements, P&L by location).
Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing processes.
Monitor cash flow and ensure sufficient funds for operations.
Oversee accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR) and general ledger (GL) activities.
Budgeting & Forecasting
Assist in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts for each franchise location.
-Analyze variances and prepare financial performance reports.
General Ledger & Financial Reporting
Supervise posting to the general ledger and ensure entries are accurate and complete.
Review journal entries for accruals, depreciation, adjustments, etc.
Reconcile subsidiary ledgers (AR, AP, bank, inventory) with the general ledger.
Ensure reports are aligned with GAAP and franchise reporting requirements.
Team Supervision & Development
Supervise and support accounting staff.
Assign duties, review performance, and conduct training.
Maintain schedules and workflows for timely reporting and processing.
Compliance & Controls
Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and local tax regulations.
Prepare and submit business tax filings, sales tax reports, and other regulatory documents.
Maintain internal controls to safeguard financial data and prevent errors or fraud.
Software & Systems Management
Manage accounting systems (e.g. QuickBooks)
Ensure integration and accuracy between membership systems and accounting software.
