Chemist/ QA

Qualifications:

• Candidate must possess a Bachelor/College Degree in Chemistry/ Chemical Engineering or related course;
• Must be a Registered/Licensed Chemist.
• Fresh graduate or 1 to 2 years' experience working in the laboratory
• Have an excellent communication and good interpersonal skills.
• With background in iso 9001 quality management sytem or iso 14001 environmental management system.
• Background with PCO is an advantage
• Knowledgeable with Word, Excel & Power Point
• Willing to work in NCH Philippines main plant at Cainta, Rizal

Job Description:

Conducts in-house physical analyses, chemical analyses, and coordinates with an outside or third party analyses for the ff:

1. Test water samples, corrosion coupons & deposit analysis

2. Test water samples using Pyxis SP910 & DR890

3. Prepare test reagents including inventories.

4. Prepare test reagents having lower concentration for SMB

5. Initialize, configure & calibrate aquaDART (conductivity, PTSA & pH probes), Pyxis SP910, Myron

conductivity meter, Microtrac conductivity controller & pH pen.

1. Assist Operations in supplying test reagent & equipment.

2. Assist Operations in repairing metering pumps and controllers.

3. Conduct case study/investigative research in relations to water treatment.

4. Do fieldwork with CAWT Consultants from time to time.

5. Duties & responsibilities emphasize to support Sales.

6. Perform other duties & responsibilities that is assign to him/her from time to time lease fill in this space about a little information of the opening.
