Backed by world-class investors, we are on track to be one of the few cash flow positive, tech-enabled unicorns based out of Singapore.RequirementsWe are looking for a Tax Accountant that is excited about the below Mission and Outcomes.Mission: The Tax Accounting team is responsible for preparing and filing all tax-related obligations for Sleek's clients in Australia, including companies, individuals, and trusts. You'll play a critical role in guiding our clients through their accounting journey and actively engages with them during the preparation of their tax returns.Outcomes Prepare accurate financial statements and tax returns for a range of entity types, including sole traders, companies, partnerships, and trusts. Handle regulatory submissions such as Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT), Taxable Payments Annual Report (TPAR), and other ad-hoc compliance obligations. Stay updated on financial and taxation regulations and legislation to ensure compliance in all aspects of accounting and taxation services. Maintain clear and professional communication with clients to provide updates, clarify requirements, and address queries. Ensure the on-time lodgement of tax returns, regulatory submissions, and other compliance documents to meet deadlines and avoid penalties. Perform other accounting and tax-related tasks as assigned by management, including support for audits or advisory services. Use relevant accounting and tax software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, or ATO online services) effectively to streamline processes and maintain accuracy. Maintain high attention to detail in all deliverables to ensure accuracy and compliance with Australian taxation standards. To do this, you will have a minimum of 3 years experience as an Australian Tax Accountant and you will most likely be located in the PHILIPPINES. We want the candidate to have the confidence to execute solutions on their own and the experience to know when to ask questions.AI-ready and curious: Sleekbooks already utilises AI capabilities, but there are many more applications to be found and incorporated. We want the candidate to be able to identify additional AI-led applications and be able to ascertain the practicalities of those solutions.
