EO - Cashier

Job Description

The Cashier is responsible for accurately handling customer transactions, providing excellent customer service, and supporting store operations at Executive Optical branches. The role ensures proper cash handling, billing accuracy, and a positive customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Process customer payments accurately (cash, card, and other payment methods)
• Issue official receipts and ensure correct billing
• Handle refunds, exchanges, and adjustments in accordance with company policies
• Maintain accurate daily cash records and perform cash reconciliation
• Safeguard cash drawer and ensure proper turnover of funds
• Assist customers with basic inquiries regarding products, promotions, and payment options
• Coordinate with opticians and sales staff for smooth transaction flow
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the cashiering area
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and internal controls

Qualifications

• Graduate of any 2-year or 4-year course
• With at least 6 months to 1 year of cashiering or retail experience (optical or retail industry is an advantage)
• Basic knowledge of POS systems and cash handling procedures
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Customer-oriented, detail-oriented, and trustworthy
• Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays
• Willing to be assigned to any Executive Optical branch
