Job Overview

We are seeking an Accounting Staff to support the Accounting Department in handling day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have a background in accounting, preferably with experience in the construction industry. This role will be responsible for assisting in bookkeeping, financial documentation, tax compliance, and supporting project cost monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:

· Record and maintain accurate accounting transactions (AP/AR, journal entries, vouchers).

· Process billing, collections, and disbursements in a timely manner.

· Prepare bank reconciliations, account schedules, and supporting documents.

· Assist in monitoring project costs, expenses, and petty cash fund.

· Ensure proper filing and safekeeping of financial documents and records.

· Support in preparation of BIR forms, government remittances, and other compliance requirements.

· Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.

· Provide support during audits and financial reviews.

· Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and project teams for billing and payment-related matters.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Finance, or related field.

· At least 2 years of accounting experience (construction industry experience is an advantage).

· Knowledge in bookkeeping, financial reporting, and cost monitoring.

· Familiarity with BIR compliance, tax filings, and government remittances.

· Proficiency in MS Excel; experience with accounting software

· Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

· Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and within a team environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php16, Php20,000.00 per month
