We are seeking a proactive and strategic Branch Supervisor to establish and lead our Palawan operations. This role involves setting up branch offices, building local partnerships, recruiting and managing personnel, ensuring operational readiness, and maintaining high service standards. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the ground-up development of our Palawan branch, followed by full oversight of daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

Branch Establishment

  • Identify suitable locations and coordinate the setup of branch offices and facilities in Palawan.
  • Oversee office leasing, setup, and acquisition of necessary equipment and supplies.
  • Ensure that the branch meets operational, safety, and branding standards.

Local Partnership Development

  • Establish strong working relationships with LGUs, transport groups, and local business partners to support branch setup and operations.
  • Coordinate with LGUs for permits, licenses, and SOP alignment.

Operations Launch and Management

  • Plan and execute the launch of services in Palawan, ensuring readiness of personnel, systems, and support functions.
  • Manage day-to-day operations post-launch, ensuring efficient service delivery, customer satisfaction, and issue resolution.

Recruitment and Team Development

  • Lead the hiring, onboarding, and training of drivers/riders and branch staff.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, performance evaluations, and team goal setting.

Compliance and Permitting

  • Secure and maintain all necessary permits, licenses, and regulatory documents for branch operation.
  • Stay up to date on local transport and business regulations in Palawan.

Market Development and Expansion

  • Conduct market analysis to identify growth opportunities in Palawan.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive brand awareness and service adoption.

Administrative and Report Management

  • Maintain accurate records of branch operations, permits, compliance, and performance.
  • Prepare and submit timely reports to regional and head office management.

Crisis and Emergency Preparedness

  • Develop contingency protocols for emergencies, disruptions, or natural disasters.
  • Liaise with local authorities and emergency services for coordinated response.

Customer Service and Quality Assurance

  • Monitor service performance and customer feedback.
  • Address complaints, implement quality improvements, and maintain high service standards.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned, whether communicated verbally or in writing, to support the efficient operation of the department.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field
  • Experience in launching or managing branch-level operations, preferably in logistics, transportation, or service industries
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of local governance and regulatory processes in Palawan.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
  • Willingness to travel within Palawan and lead field-based work
