Construct tailored coats based on patterns, technical specifications, and customer/supervisor instructions.
Cut fabric pieces accurately and prepare materials for sewing.
Sew coat components using industrial sewing machines and hand-sewing techniques when required.
Assemble coat parts (collars, sleeves, linings, pockets, etc.) with precision.
Perform fittings and make necessary adjustments for proper fit and comfort.
Inspect finished coats for quality, workmanship, and adherence to specifications.
Maintain sewing tools and machines in good working condition.
Collaborate with pattern makers, sample makers, and production supervisors.
Ensure coats meet company standards for quality and durability.
Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
