The Water & Wastewater Treatment Division Manager is responsible for leading the commercial, technical, and operational performance of the Water Treatment Division. The role combines deep technical expertise in treatment chemicals and systems, solution-based sales leadership, and multi-team management to drive revenue growth, ensure project execution excellence, and expand PCT Enterprise's presence in key industries.
This position oversees Sales, Technical Design & Equipment, and Operations & Maintenance (O&M) teams and ensures that all delivered solutions — chemicals, equipment, design-and-build, O&M services, and other services — meet client requirements, regulatory standards, and company performance targets.
JOB DESCRIPTION
A. Leadership & Division Management
Lead, manage, and align Sales, Technical Design, Equipment, and O&M teams toward divisional goals.
Set divisional strategy, targets, and execution plans in coordination with Management.
Mentor, train, and develop supervisors and team members in chemicals, treatment processes, and project execution.
Implement, monitor, and enforce company policies, SOPs, safety standards, and ISO-aligned systems.
Ensure all division activities are properly planned, organized, controlled, and evaluated using a proactive project management approach.
B. Sales Leadership & Business Development
Lead and support solution-based sales of treatment chemicals, equipment, systems, and O&M services.
Drive new account development while maintaining and expanding key strategic accounts.
Support and guide the Sales Team in technical selling, pricing strategy, and scope definition.
Participate in client meetings, negotiations, and high-value sales pursuits.
Review and approve scopes of supply, technical proposals, and commercial offers prior to submission.
C. Technical & Chemical Expertise
Serve as the technical authority on water and wastewater treatment chemicals, dosing strategies, and system integration.
Conduct or oversee technical presentations, product demonstrations, and client briefings.
Support clients with complex technical issues related to process optimization, troubleshooting, and performance improvement.
Work closely with Design and Equipment Teams to define system requirements and equipment specifications.
Ensure all proposed and implemented solutions comply with local regulations, client specifications, and industry best practices.
D. Design, Equipment & Project Support
Oversee the engineering design, equipment selection, and system configuration for water and wastewater projects.
Coordinate with internal and external engineers, contractors, and suppliers.
Support Design-and-Build and O&M projects from pre-sales through commissioning and turnover.
Ensure smooth coordination between Sales, Engineering, Equipment, and Site Teams.
E. Operations & Maintenance Oversight
Provide management oversight to O&M Officers-in-Charge and site teams.
Ensure operational KPIs, service levels, and contractual obligations are met per site.
Address escalated operational, safety, or client issues and drive corrective actions.
F. Market Intelligence & Reporting
Maintain strong understanding of local market trends and industry needs.
Prepare and submit regular divisional and operations reports to the General Manager and President, covering:
Sales performance
Project status
O&M performance
Risks, issues, and improvement plans
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Engineering Degree preferrable Chemical Engineering.
Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in engineering analysis and design of water distribution, wastewater collection, and/or treatment facilities.
Able to influence across a broad and dynamic region, delivering positive change and results.
Call on potential new customers and complete sales transactions with new and existing customers to drive profitable sales.
Able to work independently, with high level of discipline and communicate clearly internally and externally
Establish and maintain a safe work environment and follow all safety and security processes.
