About the role

We are looking for an experienced Logistics and Distribution Manager to join our team at Puting Manok Corp. in Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective management of our logistics and distribution operations. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of our products to our customers.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing logistics and distribution strategies to meet business objectives
  • Managing and optimising transportation, warehousing, and inventory management processes
  • Coordinating with suppliers, carriers, and customers to ensure seamless delivery of products
  • Monitoring and analysing key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement
  • Implementing cost-saving measures and driving operational efficiencies
  • Supervising and mentoring a team of logistics and distribution personnel
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years of experience in logistics and distribution management, preferably in the manufacturing, transport, and logistics industry
  • Strong understanding of supply chain management principles, transportation planning, and inventory control
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills
  • Proficient in using logistics management software and data analysis tools
  • Effective communication and leadership skills to work with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
