Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Wave Surfer located in Marikina. The Wave Surfer will be responsible for daily wave forecasting, assessing surf conditions, providing safety advisories, coordinating with other team members, and engaging with the surfing community. The role also involves monitoring weather patterns, gathering data on wave activity, and ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all surfers.

Qualifications

  • Experience with wave forecasting, surf condition assessment, and weather pattern monitoring
  • Ability to provide clear safety advisories and coordinate with team members
  • Strong communication skills for engaging with the surfing community
  • Knowledge of first aid and safety procedures
  • Excellent observational and analytical skills
  • Proactive and able to work independently
  • Passion for surfing and deep understanding of surf culture is a plus
