Homebased Online English Teacher

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct lessons to improve students' English speaking, reading, and listening skills.
  • Create a positive teaching environment to ensure that the class is conducive to learning.
  • Follow assigned class schedule and conduct classes on time via the AICA teaching platform or Zoom app.
  • Track and submit class remarks every after class.
  • Ensure that teaching equipment and internet connection are in good working condition at all times.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues that may occur during class and report in real time.
  • Other tasks as assigned.

Skills Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills with neutral accent.
  • Teaching experience of at least 6 months, preferably within a similar online environment.
  • FRESH GRADUATES ARE WELCOME TO APPLY.
  • Capable of teaching kids / teens.
  • Working knowledge on how to use Zoom and other online teaching platforms
  • Familiar in using Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides) and Teams.

  • Must have BACKUP DEVICE, BACKUP POWER SUPPLY and BACKUP INTERNET CONNECTION.
  • Laptop or desktop

  • 4Gb RAM or higher
  • 2GHz Quad Core Processor or higher
  • Chrome 71 / Safari 12 or later

  • Noise-cancelling headset
  • Web Camera (External USB camera or built-in laptop camera x 720 or higher)
  • Internet connection speed
  • Wired (LAN C6 or up) of at least 20 mbps on both download and upload
  • Teaching environment
  • Quiet and private (no audible animal or vehicle sounds)
  • Plain white/beige/grey background

  • Location: 100% WORK-FROM-HOME
  • Pay: Php100.00 per hour
  • Expected hours: 15 per week
  • Schedule: Early shift (1PM-5PM) and Late shift (6PM-9PM)
