  • Candidate must at least have a Bachelor's degree in Customs Administration or Logistics/ Transport Management/ Supply Chain or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar position handling Air and Ocean freight Operations.
  • Extensive knowledge of local and international freight services and customs policies.
  • Familiar with industry-standard programs and able to operate standard systems relevant to the position.

Job Description:

  • Work hand in hand with the Operations Manager to manage Sea and Air Freight operations within the Rhenus Logistics office in PH
  • Supervise employees, including making decisions about hiring, evaluating, scheduling/work assignments, work procedures, resolving conflicts, etc.
  • Makes sure that the team is fulfilling the local, regional, and global KPIs
  • Responsible for determining and arranging/ conducting training such as but not limited to, market information, new regulations, company policy, SOP, the orientation of onboarding employees, etc.
  • Perform Administrative work for the Department including local and regional reports required and mandated.
  • Perform analysis related to the workload of the team, monthly performance, job reports, etc.
  • Ensure that operations functions are following local and regional/global compliance policies.
  • Leading the team members and support their continuous development and growth within the company. Cooperation and teamwork are to be ensured anytime.
  • Regular case study and root cause analysis for preventive actions together with the Operations Manager

Skills, Knowledge and Attributes:

  • Experience in a Sales-relating position is advantageous.
  • Data analytical mindset is a must.
  • Highly motivated to learn new processes, receive feedback, support the team and work independently.
  • Highly trainable and approachable.
  • Experience in special shipment handlings: reefer, DG, contract/ project logistics, etc is advantageous.
