Job Summary:

Truck drivers transport goods and materials over local, regional, or national routes. They operate heavy-duty or light-duty trucks, ensuring timely and safe delivery while complying with traffic laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Driving & Delivery: Operate trucks to deliver goods to various locations.
  • Loading & Unloading: Secure cargo properly; may assist in loading/unloading.
  • Route Planning: Plan routes using maps, GPS, or dispatch instructions.
  • Vehicle Inspection: Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections; report mechanical issues.
  • Compliance: Maintain logs of working hours, following Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
  • Customer Service: Communicate with clients or dispatch to confirm deliveries.

Types of Truck Drivers:

  • Long-haul (OTR) – Cross-country or interstate routes; away from home for days/weeks.
  • Regional – Operate within a specific area; home every few days.
  • Local – Short distances; home daily.
  • Specialized – Haul hazardous materials, oversized loads, or refrigerated goods.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php695.00 per day
