Who we're looking for:

As part of the global support team based in Parañaque, Metro Manila, we are looking for a Payroll Manager to join our Australian Payroll & Human Resources team. In this role, you will use your excellent communication skills to work collaboratively with people at all levels across the BMD Group in Australia. You will manage two payroll officers to ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, whilst maintaining compliance with relevant regulations.

Your daily tasks will include:

  • Work full on-site, Monday to Friday, 6am to 3pm PH time
  • Ensuring and reviewing timesheet data of 1000+staff
  • Interpretation of Australian awards and legislation as and when required
  • Processing and reviewing month end payments (union dues, income protection, redundancy funds etc.)
  • Maintaining accurate personnel records

About you:

  • Previous experience in a payroll manager role
  • With at least 5 years of end-to-end payroll expertise across APAC countries.
  • Construction industry experience highly regarded
  • Experience using Microsoft Dynamics NAV software highly regarded
  • Ability to adapt and problem solve in a dynamic team environment
  • Ability to work in a high volume, processing environment with high attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, collaboratively and manage a small team
