Store Supervisor

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise Daily Store Operations: Ensure smooth and efficient operations of the store by overseeing all aspects of the store's activities, including staff performance, inventory management, and customer service.
- Team Leadership: Lead, train, and motivate the store team to ensure high performance. Provide guidance and support, helping employees grow and meet their professional goals.
- Customer Service Excellence: Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring a positive experience for all visitors. Lead by example in providing exceptional customer service.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering and receiving inventory, and ensure products are displayed and rotated properly. Perform regular inventory checks and ensure that the stockroom is organized.
- Cash Management & Register Oversight: Supervise cash register functions and ensure accurate handling of transactions. Perform cash reconciliations and manage bank deposits.
- Sales & Performance Tracking: Work with the team to meet store sales goals. Monitor store performance, track key metrics, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Shift Scheduling & Staff Management: Create employee schedules, ensuring appropriate staffing during peak hours. Oversee break times and ensure smooth transitions during shift changes.
- Training & Development: Train new employees on store policies, customer service expectations, and safety procedures. Provide ongoing coaching and conduct performance reviews to promote professional development.
- Store Cleanliness & Safety: Ensure the store maintains high standards of cleanliness and safety. Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Problem Solving: Address operational and customer issues as they arise, ensuring quick resolution. Work with the store manager to implement solutions to improve store efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
Education:
At least College level
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
1-2 years of supervisory experience in a retail setting, preferably as a Shift Supervisor or Store Supervisor in a convenience store or similar environment.
Skills & Abilities:
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with retail management systems, POS systems, and basic computer applications.
- Ability to handle cash, perform reconciliations, and track store performance.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
