Logistics Delivery Helper

Reports to:

Delivery Driver / Logistics Supervisor

Job Summary:

The Logistics Delivery Helper assists the delivery driver in the safe and timely transportation of goods from the warehouse to customers or business locations. The role involves loading, unloading, organizing items, ensuring accurate deliveries, and providing excellent customer service while maintaining safety and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in loading and unloading goods, materials, or products to and from the delivery vehicle.
  • Help ensure items are handled carefully to avoid damage.
  • Support the driver in navigating routes, confirming delivery details, and checking delivery documents.
  • Verify the accuracy of items being delivered based on delivery receipts or invoices.
  • Assist in securing goods inside the vehicle to ensure safe transport.
  • Provide courteous and professional assistance to customers during deliveries.
  • Collect and return delivery receipts, payments, or other necessary documents to the logistics office.
  • Help maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the delivery vehicle.
  • Follow all safety protocols and company policies during delivery operations.
  • Perform other related tasks as may be assigned by the driver or supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • At least High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Preferably with experience in delivery, logistics, or warehousing.
  • Physically fit; able to lift and carry heavy items.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Honest, reliable, and willing to work flexible hours.

Working Conditions:

  • Field-based; frequently exposed to different weather conditions.
  • Requires physical effort such as lifting, pushing, and pulling heavy loads.
  • May require overtime, weekends, and holiday work depending on delivery schedules.
