Key responsibilities

  • Vehicle operation: Safely operating a commercial vehicle for long-distance or local deliveries.
  • Route and schedule management: Planning and optimizing routes, and ensuring goods are delivered on time.
  • Loading and unloading: Supervising and assisting with the loading and unloading of cargo, ensuring it is properly secured and documented.
  • Inspections and maintenance: Performing daily inspections of the truck for mechanical issues and performing basic maintenance, such as checking fluids and tire pressure.
  • Documentation and record-keeping: Maintaining detailed logs of hours, mileage, fuel, and expenses, and completing delivery and accident reports.
  • Communication: Communicating with dispatchers regarding delays, accidents, or maintenance needs, and interacting professionally with customers.
  • Safety and compliance: Adhering to all federal, state, and company regulations, including traffic laws, hours-of-service rules, and safety procedures.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php15, Php17,000.00 per month
