KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Responsible for the product development activities that involves conceptualization, planning, budget definition, capabilities assessment, product requirements definition, customer interactions, progress monitoring, endorsement to manufacturing, and maintenance of related documentation.
  • Prepares a Product Development Plan which serves as a comprehensive record of the product in terms of specifications, quality objectives and requirements, resources specific to the products, required verification, validation, monitoring, measurement, inspection, and test activities specific to the product and the criteria for product acceptance.
  • Creates a detailed business plan or opportunity analysis for Advanced (R&D) and Partnered Projects which requires a more in-depth planning and research.
  • Creates product proposals for projects defined by the Marketing and Sales Teams such as Commercial Developments, and Systems Integration Projects which more or less already has a defined target market.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor in Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Computer Engineering

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Good technical knowledge in consumer electronics products. Have strong problem identification, definition and solving skills. Self motivated and with effective interpersonal and communication skills.
