As an Industrial Engineer Intern, you will join Process Engineers to collaborate with various teams to analyze, design, and optimize processes to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction. You will gain hands-on experience in process review and improvement, operations management, and data analysis while contributing to key projects that impact the company's retail operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Support: Assists Process Engineers/Analysts during process assessment and review phase then document project progress and prepare reports for stakeholders. Helps the completion of process documentation of every project handed to him/her.
  • Process Analysis and Improvement: Recommend any seen and possible improvements, based on knowledge and capacity, to workflows to reduce costs and improve productivity.
  • Data Collection and Analysis: Gather data on sales, inventory, and operational performance. Conduct time studies, process simulations, and root cause analyses (whenever or whatever is necessary). Use analytical tools to interpret trends and provide actionable insights.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in tools such as MS Excel, MS Word, or Power apps
  • Knowledge of lean principles, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
