Qualifications and Skills

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, and lift and carry moderate weight.
Excellent time management and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and deliveries efficiently.
Meticulous attention to detail to ensure the correct items are delivered to the right place.
Strong verbal and interpersonal skills for interacting with hospital staff.
Punctual and dependable, with a strong sense of responsibility.
Experience in a similar role or a healthcare environment is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

Transport medical records, lab results, X-rays, patient charts, medication, specimens, and mail between hospital departments.
Ensure all sensitive materials, such as confidential patient information and specimens, are handled and delivered securely and discreetly.
Maintain accurate logs of items picked up and delivered, including time and recipient's signature, to ensure accountability.
Move medical equipment, supplies, and other materials as needed.
Communicate effectively with nurses, doctors, lab technicians, and administrative staff to coordinate pickups and deliveries.
Follow all hospital policies and procedures, including those for infection control and handling of hazardous materials.
