Role Overview
As a Selling Area Supervisor at Waltermart Supermarket, you will be instrumental in driving sales performance, ensuring operational efficiency, and delivering exceptional customer service in your assigned department. You will oversee daily floor operations, implement effective merchandising strategies, and lead a team to consistently meet and exceed business targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding customer service and ensure a seamless and satisfying shopping experience within your product area
- Drive category growth by meeting sales objectives, maintaining product quality, and reducing spoilage or shrinkage
- Implement marketing initiatives, promotional activities, and pricing strategies accurately and on time
- Monitor inventory levels, manage stock accuracy, and coordinate timely replenishment to ensure optimal product availability
- Lead, coach, and evaluate the performance of sales associates and merchandisers within your team
- Enforce adherence to company policies, safety protocols, and operational standards across all activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in retail operations, store supervision, or the food & beverage industry
- Strong leadership capabilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Goal-oriented, detail-focused, and committed to providing excellent customer service
