Pushback Operator

Essential Functions

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Follows established safety guidelines, procedures and safe equipment operation practices
• Ensures that the equipment is operated within the limits of its specifications as indicated on the equipment manual.
• Conducts a thorough check of the equipment before and after operation on a daily basis
• Responsible for towing of aircraft in a safe, responsible manner in accordance with strict operating procedures, carrying out vehicle daily maintenance checks
• Inspects aircraft tugs, towbars and any other equipment used in the process of an airplane pushback or before each aircraft towing procedure to ensure that they're in working order
• Responsible for the operation of lower deck loaders, passenger steps, loading and unloading of baggage.

Position Specifications

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience with automotive maintenance, basic mechanical and auto electrical skills
• Holder of a Professional Driver's License for at least 2 years and a valid license for operating equipment
• Physically fit
• Willing to work on shifting schedule, weekends, holidays and extended working hours
• ability to work for long hours and be cautious to avoid any accidents
