About the role
Omega Healthcare Management Services Inc. is seeking a talented Taxation and Audit Manager to join our team in Ortigas, Pasig City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in ensuring our organization's compliance with all relevant tax regulations and accounting standards.
What you'll be doing
- Monitor filing deadlines to ensure adherence to tax laws and BIR filing deadlines
- Oversee the preparation and submission of tax returns and relevant attachments for BIR filing
- Monitor and interpret new BIR rulings and developments that have potential impact to the company
- Advise on the tax implications of both domestic and cross-border business transactions
- Handles Transfer Pricing Documentation
- Handles internal and external audits including BIR Audits and other tax cases including documentation, analysis and response preparation.
- Handles BOI, PEZA, and LGU reporting and concerns
- Handles applications for ITH PEZA and BOI registration, validation and extensions
- Manages Internal Audits on Fixed Assets and assists on other related audits
- Monitors Farm in and Farm out application
- Ensures all assets are applied for insurance and coordinate with AP team for proper recording
- Ensures all defective, missing and damaged assets for disposal are properly reported
- Provides Internal and External Audit requirements related to Fixed Assets and Compliances
- Handles monthly fixed assets and depreciation entries and schedules
- Ensures proper implementation of the New ERP system related on Fixed assets and Taxes
What we're looking for
- At least 5 years of post-qualification experience in taxation and audit, ideally within the healthcare industry
- With BOI, PEZA, and LGU reporting experience
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field, with a CPA or equivalent professional certification
- Demonstrated expertise in tax compliance, auditing, and financial reporting
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with cross-functional teams
- Experience in managing and developing a team of tax and audit professionals
- Proficiency in using relevant tax and accounting software
